About Me
I am a Ph.D student in the Department of Data Science at Seoul National University of Science and Technology, supervised by Hakyeon Lee in the Data & Business Innovation (D&BI) Lab.
I am broadly interested in recommender systems. My work so far has focused on serendipity, treating it as a subjective experience of the user rather than a property of items. I have also worked on the valence-blindness of sign-aware recommender systems (see Publications).
Lately I have become interested in generative and agentic recommendation. I believe this is where recommendation should move, and I am now working on what that changes.
